Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant for our manufacturing client based in Co. Westmeath, you will play a key role in supporting the Financial Controller with day-to-day accounting operations.If you are detail-oriented and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
This is a permanent position, working Monday–Friday, 37 hours per week.
Your new job
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Support the Financial Controller with day-to-day finance operations.
· Raise invoices and issue payment claims to customers.
· Process certificates and manage credit control activities.
· Monitor daily communications and respond to finance-related queries.
· Update internal databases with accurate and relevant financial information.
· Perform Debtors Reports, Intrasat & VIES Revenue reporting
· Reconcile department accounts and maintain updated SOP documentation.
· Attend weekly finance meetings to discuss ongoing tasks and updates.
What are we looking for?
· 2 years’ experience with accounts payable
· Excellent accounting and strong numerical skills.
· Strong working knowledge of Sage 50.
· Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and Excel formulas.
· Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
· Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
