CNC Workshop Manufacturing Lead

As part of our expansion, we are currently looking for a suitably motivated - CNC Workshop Manufacturing Lead - to join our group.
In this role, you will lead and contribute to our production operations in Galway.
Coordinate schedules, delegate tasks, and organize training to enhance skills and productivity. Evaluate workshop performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions toincrease efficiency. Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. Supervise and motivate team members
Collaborate with other departments, clients, or suppliers to coordinate project delivery andmaintain effective communication. Operate and maintain CNC machines, including 5-axis CNC and SPDT machines. Serve as the subject matter expert on key equipment, influencing design and productionplanning for robust and repeatable parts. Create Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programs. Produce initial prototypes, scaling up to production volumes. Review drawings, instructions, or samples to ensure accurate production of key parts. Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping, and monitor production, adjusting feed andother settings as necessary. Select appropriate machine settings and plan the sequence of operations to completeassignments. Maintain inventory of completed products, tooling, and material stock, ensuring acceptablequality. Maintain a safe and clean workstation. Contribute to and liaise with the multidisciplinary team to capture machining requirements. Contribute to and liaise with the supply chain team to ensure production and capacity targetsare met. Ability to write effective reports for project requirements.
