Our product portfolio covers a wide range of emerging technologies from photonic integrated circuits to advanced optical systems and embedded software solutions. Our optical communications systems are integrated and deployed in satellite communications systems. The work is exciting and challenging and is at the forefront of the technology domains. As part of our expansion, we are currently looking for a suitably motivated - Digital Design Engineer - to join our group.
The Digital Design Engineer will be responsible for developing digital solutions on a wide range of FPGA based systems including System On Chip (SOC) devices and System On Module (SOM) systems. The FPGA based systems will typically include an embedded microprocessor or microcontroller though they may also operate as standalone digital systems. Working as part of a team, you will develop IP blocks that can be instantiated in different FPGA targets. You will be required to develop the digital solutions according to mBryonics Quality Standards and Procedures and will be required to participate in reviews to ensure compliance with these standards.

Creating detailed design and test documents
Participating actively in project reviews
Crafting digital circuits using appropriate hardware description language
Generating design constraints
Ensuring timing closure
Tracking and managing bugs and issues throughout the development process
Who you are
Degree in Engineering, Physics, Information Technology or proven experience in this area.
5 years of RTL level Digital IC Design experience using System Verilog and/or Verilog and/or VHDL
Broad experience working with digital design, implementation and verification tools
Strong knowledge of RTL coding techniques and good design practices
Micro-architecture of simple to complex digital blocks
Experience with designs involving different signalling standards and speeds
Test bench creation, simulation, timing analysis and achieving timing closure
