Demand Planner

Meade Farm Group are recruiting for a Demand Planner to join the team. The Demand planner plays a crucial role in ensuring that the right products are available at the right time and place to meet customer demand, while minimizing waste and costs.

Responsibilities/job functions:

• Conduct daily stock takes and reconcile against the EPR system
• Successfully communicate forecast and stock estimations to the procurement team.
• Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, specials etc.
• Conduct monthly forecast stock meetings.
• Monitor and create trends
• Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast.
• Review promotional plans and circulate
• Be able to clearly communicate with the production floor on stocks, usage, adjustments, specifications etc.
• Managing the stores/fridges & locations of stock between onsite and offsite storage facilities
• Manage all stock movements across departments and stores.
• Competitor analysis
• To assist other colleagues of the commercial team with buying, sourcing, haulage etc.
• Collaborate closely with other departments
• Any other ad hoc duties as required
