Person in Charge

Our client is expanding, and they have an exciting opportunity for a Person in Charge to join their dedicated team in Mayo. This key leadership role ensures the highest standards of care and compliance with HIQA regulations and HSE policies. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with autism and a strong background in managing residential services.

Key Responsibilities

• Service Delivery – Lead shifts, provide direct care, develop and implement individual care plans.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance – Ensure adherence to HIQA and HSE standards, conduct audits, and maintain documentation.
• Training & Development – Support new team members and facilitate training programs.
• Team Leadership – Foster a collaborative work environment and provide on-call support when required.

Essential Criteria

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a management/supervisory role in health or social care.
• Education: Level 7 degree in Applied Social Studies (or relevant qualification) & Level 6 Management qualification.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of HIQA and HSE standards.
• Skills: Excellent IT, report writing, people management, and rostering experience.
• License: Full, clean driving license and access to a vehicle.
