Social Work-Adult Safeguarding

Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join their Adult Safeguarding team in Dublin. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in identifying, assessing, and responding to safeguarding concerns while promoting empowerment and dignity for at-risk adults.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify safeguarding needs and risks for adults.
• Develop and implement safeguarding plans in collaboration with the individual, their family, and relevant stakeholders.
• Work in partnership with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to care and protection.
• Provide advocacy and support to individuals to promote their rights and independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in line with legal and organizational requirements.
• Offer guidance, advice, and training on adult safeguarding to colleagues and partner organizations.
• Ensure compliance with national safeguarding policies, standards, and procedures.

Requirements:

• A recognized qualification in Social Work and current registration with CORU.
• Experience in adult safeguarding, social work, or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to build trust and establish positive relationships with individuals and families.
• A commitment to upholding the rights, dignity, and autonomy of adults.
