HR Generalist (South Tipperary)
Our client, a well-established company in South Tipperary are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing disciplinary and grievance matters, absence management, and recruitment at all levels.
Duties:
Conduct interviews, evaluate candidates based on job experience, education, skills, and other relevant factors, and manage the recruitment process from candidate sourcing to on-boarding.
Manage employee relations, including handling sickness absence, disciplinary actions, and grievance issues in alignment with company policies
Measure employee satisfaction, participate in engagement activities, and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Coach managers on performance management processes and support with relevant tools and strategies.
Communicate company benefits to employees, participate in reviews of rewards and remuneration, and assist with payroll administration as needed.
Ensure company policies are up to date with current employment law and that managers are informed of any changes.
Generate HR reports and statistics on a regular basis, analyze metrics, and recommend areas for improvement.
Oversee the administration processes within the HR department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Support various HR initiatives and projects, such as performance management and training development.
Step in to cover responsibilities in the absence of the Senior HR Officer.
Perform ad-hoc duties, including reception cover and general administrative tasks as necessary.
Requirements:
Previous experience overseeing recruitment and selection across all business levels.
Strong ability to collaborate with managers and supervisors to implement HR initiatives.
Excellent administrative skills, including experience with HRIS systems.
Proven ability to track and use HR metrics to improve both business performance and employee outcomes.
A qualification in human resource management would be beneficial.
Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
High ethical standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
A team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
