Sign Making Operative

Production Equipment Europe is a leading industrial distributor supplying over 90,000 products to a wide portfolio of customers.

We are currently looking for a Sign Making Operative to join our Signs Team.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a busy workshop and manufacturing environment.
• Be part of a proactive team, producing high quality finished product based on customer requirements and deadlines
• Regular operation of a range of equipment including wide format printers, vinyl cutters, digital cutter and laminators
• Create and apply vinyl decals and print graphics on various materials
• Input into efficient and effective operations of the Signs department
• Ensure workshop is kept clean and tidy.

Skills & Experience:

• Background in manufacturing and assembly operation
• Basic IT Skills in excel/work/outlook is desirable
• Be creative and have good attention to detail
• Hands on experience in a semi-skilled role
• Ability to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
• Experience with sign making is a distinct advantage
• Be able to offer input into improving processes and operations of the department
• Excellent communication skills.
