Manufacturing Engineer

Reporting to the Senior Engineer, the successful candidate will be an ambitious and dedicated individual with good communication skills. The position will be responsible for leading and assisting in assigned project groups in areas related to manufacturing, operational excellence and new product introduction.

You will be part of a dynamic team with a broad range of knowledge and experience from the longstanding history of the Sligo site, its customer base and medical device product range.

What You Will Do

• Participate in the daily support of the manufacturing operation and implement projects to improve the overall site performance
• Actively assist in process validation (e.g., configuration planning and sample production) and documentation development
• Engage in lean practices to support the site Operational Excellence Program
• Participate in the development, commissioning and validation of equipment and processes associated with new product introduction
• Facilitate and support safety, environmental and ergonomic efforts
• Ensure compliance with the site Quality Management systems and standards
• Carry out all duties in accordance with the Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Policies, and comply with GMP procedures

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience at Technician/Engineer level in a similar environment preferred
• Work on own initiative and interact with all levels in the company.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Analytical approach to problem solving
