Manufacturing Technician

Reporting to the Senior Engineer, the successful candidate will be an ambitious and dedicated individual. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in assigned project groups in areas related to manufacturing, maintenance and testing procedures.

What You Will Do

• Provide support to Manufacturing and Operational Excellence in areas of troubleshooting, training, increased efficiency, six sigma and other Lean Manufacturing activities, including cost reduction and health and safety.
• Provide support for the Preventative Maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and Plant Facilities as required.
• Involved in the commissioning, validation and engineering support of equipment and processes associated with new product introduction and ongoing production support.
• Identify and source materials, equipment, and processes, as required.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management systems and standards in place.
• Carry out all duties in accordance with the Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental Policies, and comply with GMP procedures and maintain high standards of housekeeping

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Diploma in Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent preferred
• Working experience at Technician level in a similar environment preferred
• Work on own initiative and interact with all levels in the company
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Analytical approach to problem solving
