Support Workers - Disabilities Day Services

Prosper Meath, part of the Prosper Group, is a community-based organisation that provides a wide range of health-related and social services to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. Location: Various Locations in County Meath, Ireland

Hours: 35 - 39 hours per week

Contract: Fixed Term Contract

Salary Scale: €36,391 - €52,444 (pro- rated to contracted hours)

Position Overview:

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support to individuals attending our Day Services. You will assist individuals with activities of daily living, offer guidance, promote independence, and support them in engaging in community-based activities. This is a rewarding role where you will work alongside a supportive team to help individuals achieve their personal goals.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in social care, healthcare, or related fields is desirable but not essential.
• A minimum of Level 7 in Social Care, Healthcare, or a related discipline.
• A passion for working with individuals with disabilities and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and also independently.
• A full clean manual driving license is essential.
• Garda Vetting will be required for successful applicants.
