Production Manager

We are presently recruiting for a Production Manager for our clients, a large Engineering company in County Kerry. You will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring that all production departments run efficiently, maintain high standards of product quality. This role involves managing staff, coordinating production schedules, and implementing process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce costs. This is a full time, permanent position based in County Kerry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and oversee the manufacturing process to ensure production targets are met.
• Develop and implement production schedules with the planning department
• Ensuring timely delivery of products across the plant.
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
• Manage and train production staff.
• Collaborate with other departments,
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate production records.

Experiences and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of production management principles and practices.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
