Amazon’s Retail department is on the lookout for a strong writer and instructional designer to create training that empowers our buyers and inventory planners to excel. Our team designs, builds, and maintains high-impact learning experiences—so if you're passionate about clear communication and effective training, this role is for you!

What You’ll Do

• Turn Complexity into Clarity – Work with subject matter experts to simplify intricate systems and processes, making them digestible for learners.
• Design Engaging Learning Experiences – Whether it’s classroom training, e-learning, or on-the-job aids, you’ll craft content that helps learners succeed.
• Analyze & Innovate – Evaluate existing documentation and learning gaps, then design creative solutions to fill them.
• Measure Success – Develop assessments and evaluations to ensure knowledge transfer is effective.
• Streamline & Scale – Build templates and processes that make training development faster and more efficient.
• Keep Content Fresh – Maintain and update training materials to ensure they stay relevant.

What You Bring to the Table

• A love for writing—especially when it makes learning easier.
• Experience designing and developing online and classroom-based training materials.
• A knack for breaking down complex tools and processes into simple, easy-to-follow content.
• The ability to collaborate with experts and translate their knowledge into actionable learning.
• An understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and knowledge management (or a strong willingness to learn!).
• Comfort in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment—because no two days are the same here!
