About the Role

Be the face of our hotel! As Duty Manager, you'll keep everything running smoothly day-to-day, ensuring our guests enjoy a stellar experience that exceeds their expectations. You’ll lead an awesome team, manage operations like a pro, and make sure all health, safety, and compliance standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome all guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel valued throughout their stay.
  • Address guest inquiries and communicate our services and amenities effectively.
  • Resolve guest issues professionally and communicate feedback with relevant teams to improve service.
  • Implement our Winning Lifetime Customer program to build guest loyalty and drive repeat visits.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring hotel standards and checklists are consistently followed.
  • Maintain close collaboration with all departments to deliver seamless, high-quality service.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, coordinating with the Maintenance Manager to resolve them promptly.
  • Uphold and enforce Health & Safety guidelines, ensuring the safety of guests, employees, and other visitors.
  • Train, mentor, and support staff in maintaining the highest service standards.
  • Ensure new employees are well-versed in hotel policies, procedures, and guest service expectations.
  • Foster a positive work environment, leading by example in customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.

Requirements Skills & Competencies

  • 3 years in Duty Management: Must have solid experience in a hotel setting, handling operations, guest relations, and team leadership.
  • Guest Focused: Friendly, approachable, and committed to providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong Leader: Able to lead, train, and inspire a team, ensuring high service standards.
  • Problem Solver: Quick thinker who can professionally handle guest issues and operational challenges.
  • Organized & Efficient: Able to prioritize tasks and manage a busy day with ease.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ensures every aspect of the guest experience meets our 4-star standard.
  • Safety Compliance: Knows Health & Safety protocols, including fire safety and accident procedures.
  • Emergency Ready: Can perform fire drills, manage emergencies, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
  • Hotel Management Systems: Familiar with systems like Opera, Micros, or similar.
  • Basic Equipment Handling: Understands and follows Health & Safety rules for all hotel equipment.
