Responsible for the effective management of patient services, administrative and daily practice operations in a General Practice.
Duties include:
· Oversees daily practice operations ensuring the smooth running of the practice
· Develops business strategies and patient services
· Implements policies and standard operating procedures
· Liaises with and assists a team of GPs, Nurses and Receptionists/Administrators
· HR & Compliance
· Recruits and oversees administrative staff
· Manages staff rotas
· Financial Control
· IT & Communications
· Marketing practice services
· Work closely with HSE PCRS GP unit and local health office
· Addresses patient complaints in a compassionate and timely manner
· Applies the principles of confidentiality, privacy and security within the medical environment
· Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal regulations
