Job Posting for Receptionist/Administrator at Sligo Clinic
Receptionist/Administrator duties include:
Welcoming and assisting patients and visitors to the practice in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
Providing a high level of professional customer service in person and over the telephone.
Answering the multi-line telephone, handling patient enquiries, scheduling appointments for patients, screening calls, appropriate transfer of calls, recording and conveying accurate messages electronically and verbally.
Performing general tasks and office administrative duties as requested by the practice manager and doctors.
Protecting patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality and privacy of personal information.
The ideal candidates will:
Hold a relevant secretarial/business qualification or computer skills course and have achieved an excellent level of proficiency in same
Have a proven track record in providing excellent customer service and the ability to handle any complaints
Have exceptional communication skills with our patients and visitors to the practice
Enjoy working in a busy environment
Have exceptional organisational skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to multitask
Have the ability to use own initiative and work as part of a friendly team
Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Have strong computer skills including typing skills i.e. qualification/course completed in typing skills
Experience of working in a GP surgery would be a distinct advantage
Salary can be discussed at the interview stage
