Job Posting for Project Manager at Sonas Technical
Our client, a leading contractor, is seeking a skilled Project Manager for a Water Infrastructure project based in Kilkenny. This role is primarily office-based with regular site visits. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing water infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple projects in both urban and rural environments.
Oversee delivery from concept through to final completion with a strong commercial awareness.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, their representatives, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.
Draft and communicate regular project reports for both internal and client use.
Review the constructability of water and wastewater design solutions.
Coordinate effectively with internal teams, departments, and third-party providers.
Identify and resolve issues relating to performance, scope, cost, and scheduling.
Lead detailed project planning and resource-loaded scheduling for design and contract administration.
Requirements:
Full clean driver’s licence – essential.
Relevant academic or technical qualification – desirable.
Experience working with Irish or UK Water Standards (Potable & Foul) – essential.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Confident and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
