Our client, a Large Water & Utilities Contractor, is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to cover sites in the Munster region. This multi-site operation involves working on various water and utilities projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Civil Engineering and will possess the potential for progression to Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects.
Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather necessary data.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.
Prepare detailed project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Resolve any technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to project plans and timelines.
Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in civil engineering software and tools.
Ability to travel within the Munster region as required.
