SETU wishes to recruit an Irish Language Officer to monitor and record compliance with relevant legislative requirements as set out in the the Official Languages Act 2003 and 2021, and to facilitate and progress actions set out in the University’s Irish Language Strategy. More broadly, the Irish Language Officer will be responsible for promoting, supporting, and enhancing the use of the Irish language within SETU across all campuses of SETU, working with staff and students, to support the University to achieve its aims and strategic objectives in this area.
