Apprentice Service Technician

This is a great opportunity to join one of Irelands leading Agricultural Machinery Companies as an Apprentice Service Technician in our busy site in Ballycallan, Co. Kilkenny. In this role, you will learn how to perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on world-renowned Agricultural Machinery brands including John Deere, Lemken and Kramer.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Learn how to perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and AMS products.
Maintain a clean work-station and assist with the overall upkeep of the workshop and correct use of tools and vehicles.
Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Participate in demos and training activities when required.
Possible travel to the UK/Germany/Italy for training and developing skills & knowledge on the products that we carry.
Travel to perform diagnostics and repairs off-site, when required.
Ensure all administration relating to work is completed i.e. job cards, timesheets etc.
Perform pre-delivery set up on new and used equipment.

Skills & Qualifications:
Apprentice Technician

Leaving Certificate required.
Experience and knowledge of the agricultural industry.
Experience with farm machinery an advantage.
Good customer relationship skills.
Excellent teamworking mentality.
