Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic team at Noreside Engineering. This apprenticeship opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience and the technical knowledge to succeed as a fully qualified electrician. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals, gaining valuable skills and qualifications in the electrical trade.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
• Work safely following all health and safety guidelines
• Support senior electricians with various tasks on-site and in the workshop
• Complete all required training modules and theoretical studies related to the apprenticeship
• Maintain a tidy and organised work area

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong interest in electrical work and a passion for learning
• Must be willing to work solely in our Automation division
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Good communication skills
• A proactive approach to health and safety
• Minimum of Leaving Certificate or equivalent
• Previous experience in an electrical setting (if any) is a plus, but not required
