We are now looking to expand our team by hiring a motivated and talented Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join us and contribute to exciting engineering projects.
Position Overview: As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in supporting the management and execution of mechanical engineering projects, from concept to completion. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, learning the ropes of the industry while gaining hands-on experience. You’ll collaborate with clients, design teams, and other stakeholders, assisting in the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of mechanical engineering projects, working closely with project managers and senior engineers.
- Design and Development: Contribute to the development of mechanical engineering solutions under the guidance of senior team members, ensuring client specifications and technical standards are met.
- Client Interaction: Provide support in client meetings, offering updates on project progress and assisting in managing expectations.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and assist in reviewing technical documents, including engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Site Coordination: Support the team on-site, assisting with installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Help ensure that all project work aligns with industry standards and best practices, conducting inspections and testing where necessary.
- Supplier and Contractor Communication: Liaise with suppliers and contractors, helping to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Cost Control and Reporting: Assist in tracking project costs and identifying potential opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Learning and Development: Continuously develop your skills through on-the-job learning, mentorship, and training opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A keen interest in mechanical systems and project management.
- Familiarity with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a practical approach to engineering challenges.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well within a team.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Full clean driver’s license (preferred but not mandatory).
