Role Introduction:
to users within the AA, focusing on troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading Windows-based systems and related hardware and software. This role involves direct interaction with users, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and ensuring a high level of user satisfaction.
This role will be based in the AA head offices and will require a minimum 2 days per week in the office with the remaining days eligible to work from home subject to our broader Hybrid working eligibility criteria.

As the AA business continues to evolve, so too will the responsibilities of this role evolve and change over time. The primary responsibilities and focus areas for this role will include the following:
Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Windows operating systems, office applications, and other software used within the organization.
Hardware Support: Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals, including installation, maintenance, and upgrading.
Software Installation and Configuration: Install and configure Windows operating systems, Active Directory, applications, and system updates.
User Assistance and Training: Assist users with IT-related queries and provide basic training on the use of systems and applications.
System Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
Documentation: Keep day-to-day IT documentation up to date, maintain accurate records of issues, resolutions, and user requests.
Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and contribute to the security of IT systems.
Participate in ‘on-call’ rotation and Saturday shift.
The Candidate should have the following:
Minimum qualifications, experience & skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator [MCSA]) are preferred.
Proven experience in a desk side support or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with users of varying technical proficiencies.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
