Dealer Network Area Sales Manager

The AA is embarking on an exciting growth and transformation phase and is seeking to recruit a Dealer Network Area Sales Manager to support the Business Services team in insuring best in class dealer customer experience from our approved dealer partners.

This role will form part of the dynamic Business Services team and will report to the Dealer Network Channer Manager.

The successful candidate will be a highly driven, adaptable and confident people person who can thrive in a rapidly changing organisation and will adopt a hands-on approach to their role. We are seeking a high calibre and talented professional with a positive mindset and that is willing to learn.

Work location: The role will be based in the ROC (Rescue Operations Centre) office with a significant proportion of time travelling to potential dealer partner sites. This role will be fully eligible for the AA remote working, hybrid working and flexible working policies.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities and focus areas for this role will include the following:

  • Find and develop new AA Approved Dealer sites that can and will operate to AA Standards.
  • Successfully on board new dealers and integrate AA Warranty & Gap products
  • Provide support to the business and to approved dealers as required.
  • Dealer support on high level accountant management, training, program participation and general inquiries.

The Candidate should have the following:

Minimum qualifications, experience & skills

  • 2-3 years of Account Management/Business Development experience essential.
  • Experience dealing with business customers essential.
  • Motor trade (dealership sales / aftersales) experience is a plus.
  • Strong level of competence with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Full driving license essential

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills, and ability to influence and develop relationships with individuals at all levels of the organisation.

Pay: Up to €45,000.00 per year
