Accommodation Assistant

As we prepare to open The Mercantile Hotel in the heart of Dublin City, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accommodation Assistants/Housekeepers to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic pre-opening team and play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations.

Job Description:

you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our guest rooms and corridors. Your duties will include:

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to maintain the high standard.
• Change bed linens and towels on all departure rooms and stayovers as per instruction.
• Restock room supplies (e.g., toiletries, coffee, tea).
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor or maintenance team.
• Ensure that you provide a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Before end of shift Rearrange the store room and trolleys, make sure you leave your floor tidy.
• Add any additional amenities or items required for the room as per the daily instruction given by the manager/supervisor.
• Following hotel policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• great attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and team work.
• Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy items.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: €14.00-€15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
