The Office Administrator position is responsible for all front office activities, including the reception area, mail, purchasing requests, and facilities. Also responsible for back-office activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, human resources, and other assignments as assigned. Part of this position is to be a business assistant to the owner performing tasks such as maintaining calendar, authoring emails, etc.

Essential Functions
1. Manages internal and external communications to ensure telephone, mail, and email communications are effective and professional.
2. Arranges the purchase of office supplies and furniture, office equipment, etc. in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions.
3. Manages payments by preparing bank deposits, solving payment discrepancies, adjusting accounts as needed, processing check requests and tax payments, overseeing all vendors and vendor payments, ensuring all negotiated contracts are paid as agreed upon, and maintaining immaculate records.
4. Actively involved in the employee onboarding process.
5. Administers various human resource plans and procedures.
6. Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
7. Prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
8. Maintains all employee records, including reviews, pay rates, and benefits in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
9. Works with the Operations Manager to process weekly payroll.
10. Uses the CRM system for tasks such as creating estimates, invoices, and scheduling.
11. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a flexible, part-time position, 10-30 hours per week. Monday through Friday. We will collaborate with you to determine the final schedule.
Required Education and Experience

Preferred Education and Experience
1. Experience in Human Resources.
2. Prior experience in an office setting.
3. Microsoft Office: 1 year
4. Customer Service: 1 year
