Director – Digital Marketing

#1 Cochran, the leading automotive retailer in western Pennsylvania and northeast Ohio is seeking a dynamic, data-driven Digital Marketing Director to lead digital strategy, execution and performance measurement across 35 dealerships. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring deep expertise in digital marketing, data analytics, demand generation and customer acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainable strategies to drive traffic and marketing qualified leads to corporate and dealership websites.
- Strategically allocate and manage budgets across paid channels (search, social, display, retargeting, email) to optimize ROAS and business impact.
- Implement comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and drive high SERP rankings for all sites.
- Own marketing KPIs to provide executive and store level reporting; utilize data analytics tools to provide actionable insights on lead generation, web traffic, campaign performance, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, among other performance indicators.
- Lead a small team of direct reports to develop high-impact digital tactics, campaigns and performance analyses.
- Manage digital agencies and vendor relationships for websites, digital retail, chat, third-party lead providers and others, conducting in-depth monthly evaluations to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage customer database, performing list segmentation, eblast deployment and campaign measurement.
- Ensure websites and digital presence adhere to legal, ADA and OEM requirements.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing or related field.
- Minimum five years of progressive experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of driving growth in automotive retail or related industries.
- Strong strategic mindset and data-driven decision-making abilities, with proven experience optimizing marketing spend and ROI.
- Highly knowledgeable in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console.
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO optimization, technical SEO, keyword research and content strategy.
- Technical knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript related to website management.
