The SH Welcome Hale Service Assistant are the initial point of contact of our hotel, because they are the first to meet our guests. They also have the first opportunity to provide our guests with impeccable service, and often to reflect a first glimpse of the brand’s best self. Primarily responsible for greeting the guests and ensuring the utmost security is being handled. While complying with all 1 Hotels policies.

About you...
Greeting the guest upon every arrival, ensuring proper parking instructions are provided, answering any questions upon entry into the property. Thorough knowledge of all hotel services and amenities and to practice proactive, kind and thoughtful hospitality.
Requirements are representative of the minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities of aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English and any foreign language with the guests and visitors, management, and co-workers to their fullest understanding.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to provide legible communication and directions.
- Ability to understand guest inquiries and provide responses.
- Ability to focus attention on the guest’s needs with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and to make good judgments.
- Ability to work well under pressure of arriving and departing guests.
- Ability to input and access data in hotel computer systems.
- Ability to remain stationary at an assigned post for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Educational and Required Skills:
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- An ability to effectively present information in one on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
