As a Managing Director at 1 Hotels, you will be responsible for leading our hotel operations team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, while ensuring the efficient management of our hotel's daily operations. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader who can create and implement a comprehensive hotel operations strategy that drives business results and aligns with our company's overall vision and values.
You will be responsible for developing and communicating a clear and compelling vision for our hotel, establishing goals to optimize performance, and holding the operational leadership team accountable for desired outcomes. You will also be responsible for recruiting and selecting talented leaders and team members who will enhance the hotel's culture and demonstrate functional expertise. In addition, you will provide opportunities for growth and development to maximize talent, and ensure proper controls are in place and policies are established and followed by all team members.
We are seeking someone with a minimum of 10 years of progressive related work experience in an upper upscale and/or luxury hotel environment, with a minimum of 5 years as a General Manager in an upper upscale and/or luxury hotel preferably in a remote location. You should have a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance, and be able to lead organizational change and help team members adapt to new strategies, technologies, or processes.
