Diesel Mechanic

Recruiting for a skilled Tools and Diesel Mechanic in Gonzales, LA area. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of rental tools and equipment. Your expertise will help ensure that our customers have access to high-quality, reliable tools for their projects.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with rental tools and equipment, including power tools, light towers, generators, and more.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components in accordance with safety standards.
• Manage inventory of tools and equipment, including tracking and documenting repairs.
• Assist customers by providing technical advice and guidance on equipment usage and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Respond to customer needs and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize equipment availability and service efficiency.

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a technical program in mechanics or relevant field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a mechanic, specifically with rental tools and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of machinery.
• Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in equipment maintenance.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
