Lead Operations and Quality Executive (West/ Central)

Summary: In this role, you will serve as the primary advisor and member contact for academic medical centers and large, complex system members to influence participation in Vizient analytic and service solutions, as well as drive value, maximize engagement, and achieve measurable performance improvement results. You will interpret, prioritize, and deliver advanced clinical, operational, and utilization insights (e.g., quality and accountability study; capacity and throughput; quality of care delivery; cost per patient day; etc.) that support performance improvement strategies for provider organizations as well as solve problems in order to increase Vizient engagement. You will advise provider strategic leadership in performance improvement solutions for assigned facilities. Responsibilities: Maximize provider participation in Vizient operations and quality solutions to provide enhanced value and deliver performance improvement. Recommend analytic capabilities and service solutions that align with provider's strategic aspirations. Support revenue generation through provider retention and identification of additional service and subscription opportunities for Academic Medical Centers and large specialized complex care members; large and/or complex systems. Leverage insights from operations and quality analytics to drive adoption of Vizient solutions, maintaining and building an opportunity pipeline for recommending analytics and solutions. Partner with providers and other internal stakeholders to create, execute, achieve, and sustain improvement plans by influencing critical success factors (e.g., culture, leadership characteristics, physician alignment, organizational structure). Prioritize system and individual hospital opportunities from clinical, operational, and supply analytics that are aligned with Vizient solutions, seeking to offer recommendations and influence participation. Collaborate with internal product advisor and data teams to ensure provider data integrity. Develop and execute action plans designed to influence provider engagement and maintain/improve satisfaction scores. Qualifications: Relevant degree preferred. Master’s degree desired. 7 or more years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting quality/performance improvement role required. Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required. Performance improvement leadership experience preferred. Experience presenting to hospital C-suite providers desired. Experience working with and interpreting various types of data (clinical, operational, supply chain) desired. Clinical background in an acute care setting preferred. Project management experience desired. Desire candidates living in the Central or Western United States. Willingness to travel.
