Meet the monthly and annual sales quota as designated by Sales Manager
Make inroads into the American consumer base by initiating new projects/products/ programs
Manage brokers to set sales objectives and implement strategies accordingly
Visit customers and potential customers to provide support, information, and sell the
Company’s products
Coordinate with the accounting department to assure the collection of payment in a timely manner
Produce/participate in trade shows/events as set by business objectives
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and building rapport
Respond to and communicate with all customers in a timely manner
Coordinate urgent deliveries with the customer to accommodate their needs
Educate customers on how the products or services can benefit them
Input and update orders within the Company database accordingly
Maintain and safely navigate the Company vehicle as per the Company Vehicle Policy
Participate in weekly sales meetings
Attend semiannual inventory count on designated day, possibly on a weekend
Attend Company events and functions outside of normal working hours
Other duties as required from manager
Obligation to answer to all management as requested
Physical Requirements
Ability to drive for a majority of the daily working hours
Ability to sit in a car for extended periods of time
Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to use the phone for extended periods of time
Working Conditions
Noise Level: Normal to loud while in the office
Other Requirements
Business level English required – Read/write/speak/listen
Business level Chinese required – Read/write/speak/listen: Native level Chinese preferred
Business level Japanese required – Read/write/speak/listen

Ability to work independently and as a team
Ability to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload
Pass the Sake Adviser course within 1 year of employment
High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree or above preferred
2 years of relevant experience preferred
Knowledge and Skills
Basic mathematical knowledge – markups, discounts, combining/converting measurements, counting inventory, etc.
Problem-solving skills
Basic Microsoft Office proficiency
Communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Japanese foods and sakes
