Job Description Work as the lead training member of the Special Operations Division of the Security Services Department, within established guidelines, procedures, and protocols to provide to provide administrative and operational in development initiatives through hosting engaging training and educational events to promote the care, welfare, safety, and security of the organization’s personnel, visitors, patients, and property. Experience 3-5 years of experience in the Security, Law Enforcement, Military, or public relations fields Any instructional or training experience in a Security, Law Enforcement, or Military role Preferred Qualifications Certified Instructor in any of the following categories: Expandable baton, defensive tactics, conducted energy weapons, firearms, defensive driving, or any other relatable category Having served in a training lead or training coordinator role Education Associate degree or equivalent experience Certification Summary Valid Georgia driver’s license Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills Proven work experience as Trainer, Training Coordinator, Training Facilitator, or similar role Hands-on experience coordinating training events for an organization Knowledge of instructional styles including PowerPoint, In-Person, and web delivery-style presentations Experience with e-learning platforms Ability to adapt from training manuals for personalized presentations Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects Job Responsibilities Mapping out training plans and schedules, designing and developing training programs (outsourced or in-house) for the Security Services Department. Delivers training programs and materials to various levels of employees. Works independently and collaborates with the Learning Department to choose appropriate training methods per case (virtual, simulated, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes, etc.). Develops Curriculum for Children’s regarding safety, security drills and staff education. Tracks all advanced Security Services training to ensure compliance with standards while maintaining training records and updated curriculum. Conduct department-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed. Review special circumstances occurring within the department to assess situations and develop training for deficiencies. Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with experts regarding instructional design. Gather feedback from assistant trainers and security personnel after each training session to maintain an engaged learning environment. Research and recommend new training methods.
