Job Description The ERP Business Analyst provides support to operational business partners in Finance, Supply Chain or HR to develop, implement, maintain, and improve configurations and processes within their respective domains in Workday. The ERP Business Analyst is a subject matter expert in multiple functional areas within their respective domain and will provide ongoing technical expertise and consultation on new and existing functionality, system upgrades, business processes, configurations, change management, and testing efforts. Partnering with key internal stakeholders and external vendors, you will solve technical problems as well as work on continual process improvement with the Workday Technology team to develop solutions leveraging Workday. Experience 2 years of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience Preferred Qualifications Workday Certification as applicable to position 2-4 years implementing Workday with deep product expertise and hands-on configuration skills 2-4 years leading large digital solution projects including project management, vendor management, and solution delivery skills Strong understanding of organizational change management and user adoption methodologies Consulting experience Exposure to HCM Systems and Learning Management Systems Education College degree in operationally related area or equivalent experience Certification Summary No professional certifications required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent consulting skills with a customer-centric, solution-oriented approach Strong ability to design and implement efficient and minimalist End User Experience Strong verbal and written communication and ability to communicate clearly and concisely Strong process-oriented and data-oriented problem solver Strong ability to transform data within Excel or other applications/tools Able to quickly learn systems, processes, and grasp technical concepts Analytical and critical thinking mindset with a strong ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system and process issues Effectively prioritize workload comprised of both transactional and project-based tasks Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment, adhering to project deadlines while maintaining attention to detail Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems Ability to manage and collaborate with a 3rd party vendor, as needed, to meet deliverables Must be able to maintain high levels of confidentiality and understand and maintain data security Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to read and understand business processes in Workday Job Responsibilities Owns select Workday business processes and reports within respective Domain. Develops in-depth knowledge of system capabilities, applications, and processes to function effectively as an educator and expert for system users. Understands Children’s long- and short-term business strategy and challenges related to a domain and assigned functional area(s). Functions as business partner to operational owners, leaders, and staff. Provides data to business owners using existing or new Workday custom reports. QA, troubleshoot and load EIB data for mass data management. Conducts review sessions with operational owners and end users. Understands key business processes from end user perspectives and recommends solutions that optimize Workday and eliminates manual processes. Evaluates relevant Workday issues and enhancement requests to determine prioritization, level of effort, and timing of delivery. Creates or revises functional requirements for business process and report changes. Collaborates with work group to develop and coordinate test scenarios, document results, and resolve issues that arise out of testing. Works closely with the project team to track issues through resolution. Communicates risks and propose effective solutions. Partners with Workday configuration team to ensure functional requirements are successfully translated into technical solution. Utilizes strong product knowledge and prior experiences to expertly troubleshoot and resolve escalated support issues. Collaborates with peers and third-party vendors to resolve customer issues, maintaining complete ownership of issues from beginning to resolution. Partners with communications and training teams to develop content and delivery to promote user adoption.
