Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director to lead our organization in delivering impactful programs and services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in childcare center management, with a focus on managing and maintaining STARS 4, the Food program, teacher development. Foster positive relationships with families, teachers, community contacts, state licensing authorities. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to foster relationships, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Have at least 2-years' experience and meet DHS qualifications for the role.
- Manage administrative tasks related to program operations, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Foster relationships with staff, DHS, community partners, and families to enhance service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and Keystone STARS standards.
- Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments for improvement.
- Provide training and support to staff to enhance their skills in working with children and parents.
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and have the ability to handle multiple situations effectively.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent relationship management abilities, fostering collaboration among staff, parents, and community partners.
- Proficient in administrative tasks including screening tools, assessments, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
- Experience with assisting teachers in managing children with behavioral challenges is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
