We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting records, evaluating risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, working with auditors and maintaining the current efficiency and accuracy of the accounting department. This role is critical to the financial health and strategic planning of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP
- Develop and manage financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Supervise accounting staff and coordinate day-to-day finance operations
- Mentor and develop your finance team members, driving a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
- Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis with actionable insights
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and other statutory requirements
- Manage cash flow and working capital
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize operational efficiency
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies
- Oversee payroll system
- Oversee and reconcile billing with USFS
- Drive improvements in financial systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Netsuite
- Familiarity with ERP implementation or systems integration
- Experience with financial planning tools and dashboards
- Experience with payroll systems

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
