Summary Do you have Vista experience? Viewpoint is seeking a Program Manager to transform our ERP customers from their locally hosted On-premises environments to Viewpoint’s hosted Azure solution. Our Program Managers will drive the projects: coordinating tasks with customers and our technical engineers to ensure a smooth transition to Viewpoint’s hosted cloud. Will partner with Product Development, Professional Service, Support, and Customer Success to automate processes and align and deliver projects on time. The Transformations Program Manager is a critical role in our organization and a multi-facet skill set is required. Experience in customer success, project execution with multiple teams, and a working knowledge of cloud-based software environments are key assets of the successful candidate. This critical role will be responsible for managing the transformation projects, tracking the customer project schedules, driving the day-to-day project execution across multiple functional/organizational teams, applying risk management as necessary and ultimately being the program focal point. The ideal candidate should clearly demonstrate a passion for customer success, process improvement, team collaboration, and have a proven track record of delivering complex, multi-disciplinary programs on time with high quality. This role involves continuously assessing, recommending, and implementing improvements and additions to Viewpoint’s transformation methodology and supporting infrastructure. Exceptional communication skills are paramount as this role directly interacts with multiple cross functional teams, communicates project status, updates, and issues to department teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plans and oversees multiple concurrent activities from project initiation to completion, communicates progress to customers, engineers and department leads. Achieve optimal project outcomes by influencing across organizations, removing barriers, improving organizational project meetings, and enhancing operational culture. Proactively identifies risks and issues, drives the team to develop risk mitigation and issue management strategies and communicates impacts to the program and executive teams. Provides effective communication and ensures key information is effectively cascaded and retained regarding status, issues, objectives, dependencies, risks and plan execution to both customers and the Viewpoint team. Drives collaboration and communication of cross functional, globally dispersed, teams. Plays a leadership role in driving continuous improvement to an established transformation process, while maintaining or improving customer satisfaction. Develops and oversees customer delivery schedules, with well-defined milestones, and resource allocation. Inclusive leadership skills and ability to leverage varying skill sets and capabilities while achieving organizational objectives. Owns resolution of conflicts by bringing key stakeholders and owners together to help them make decisions, with a focus on ensuring customer success. Possesses a passion for process improvement. Acts proactively to anticipate risks and seeks to mitigate them before they occur. Listens effectively, transmits information accurately and understandably, and actively seeks feedback. Effectively presents and explains information to various group sizes and levels of knowledge. Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and good judgment in all interactions with co-workers, customers, vendors, and others. Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering or computer science plus a minimum of five years of directly relevant experience in cloud-based software development or delivery. Demonstrated project management discipline excellence. Ability to think strategically while tactically setting goals and defining scope. Ability to manage 10-15 small migration projects at any given point of time Previous experience with public cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, Google. Knowledge of cloud-based deployment and monitoring tools. Proficient with project/program management tools such as VSTS, agile methodologies and bug tracking applications. Prior experience in a customer facing role and demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships. Self-directed with ability to work effectively under pressure and with competing priorities. Ability to lead project teams through complexity in a high pressure and ambiguous environment. Hands-on experience with developing and reporting on metrics for software deployment, test execution, bugs, issues, risks, and other aspects of project and program management. Able to help others estimate the amount of work, schedules, and resource requirements by asking questions, analyzing data, and challenging assumptions. Preferred: Experience with Viewpoint product Vista is a plus Experience with SaaS web applications is strongly preferred. Experience with IT administration and networking is a plus. Experience with project software applications such as Salesforce and Smartsheets is a plus. PMP or equivalent project management certification. CSP, CSC or equivalent advanced Agile certification.
