The Opportunity Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease. Our extensive portfolio includes drug-eluting stents, guide wires, balloon dilatation catheters, imaging catheters and software, vessel closure devices, peripheral stents, thrombectomy catheters and atherectomy devices. We currently have an opportunity for a Market Development Manager. The Market Development Manager (MDM) leads the development and execution of the strategic initiatives aimed at expanding market presence and driving the adoption of Abbott products. The MDM will report to the National Area Vice President, work closely with the Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) and Account Managers (AMs), and serve as a field-based Marketing representative responsible for market development objectives in the EP customer segment, specifically within target accounts. The MDM is responsible for focused engagement with the Key Opinion Leaders in their area, strategic commercialization, market expansion efforts, upstream product development support, and the creation and/or execution of key projects. What You'll Work On Conduct thorough research to gather market intelligence used for identifying opportunities and trends within the EP segment. Develop and execute on national market development business plans by implementing market development strategies in key accounts. Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with KOL’s, and other key stakeholders in target accounts. Explore and validate potential new call-points. Develop and deliver education, presentations, and training sessions to educate KOL’s and fellows that will demonstrate the clinical value and efficacy of Abbott products. Mentor and train the U.S. field-sales team by providing technical and clinical support during 1:1 sessions, product demonstrations, and live cases. Support Corporate Accounts contract discussions with hospital and IDN leadership Gather feedback from customers to understand their experiences and challenges with Abbott products. Ensure that all marketing and promotional activities comply with industry regulations and ethical standards. Provide market/competitive insights and customer feedback to relevant internal stakeholders (Medical Education, Marketing, Strategic Accounts, etc.) - Regularly Collaborate with Abbott EP to manage account relationships and engage nationally with Key Opinion Leaders by developing and maintaining strong relationships.
