As the Brand Manager for el Jimador Tequila, you’ll craft and execute bold marketing strategies in one of the most dynamic and exciting categories within the spirits industry. Through your visionary leadership, consumer understanding, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration, you’ll play a pivotal role in accelerating the performance of a key brand to Brown-Forman’s long term success.
You’ll leverage your leadership and influence across the full marketing mix with a talented team, while also motivating and inspiring our network of agencies, partners, and distributors. What You Can Expect:
Lead the development and execution of the annual strategic marketing plan that aligns with long-term brand strategies.
Manage the brand's budget and P&L, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and achievement of financial targets.
Lead development of briefs and manage agency of record from diagnostics to strategy development to execution and evaluation.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive brand growth and achieve business objectives.
Lead strategic planning & oversight of paid & owned media:
Communications strategy oversight: Lead and coordinate all paid and owned media channels to support annual communication and business goals, including lead role on comms brief development; remit includes paid media, influencer, email/CRM, social & website
Creative & Content Leadership:
Guide the creation and oversight of advertising creative and content strategies to ensure the right content is on the right platform, for the right consumer, at the right time.
Communications Performance Lead: Oversee media performance, measurement, and annual brand learning agendas, to ensure alignment with comms goals and drive accountability to paid & owned media investments
What You Bring to the Table:
Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent); Marketing, Business or similar.
Experience: Experience: At least 5 years of proven brand-building and marketing success stories.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term brand strategies.
Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve common goals.
Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial principles and ability to manage budgets effectively.
Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively present and communicate ideas to senior management and stakeholders.
Influencing Skills: Ability to build relationships and influence others to gain support for marketing initiatives.
What Makes You Unique:
Education: Masters Degree (M.A., MBA or Equivalent);
Spirits/beverage alcohol industry experience preferably with off-premise experience.
Strong understanding of digital/modern media marketing including CRM, social media and community management.
Ability to translate consumer insights, market trends, and business analytics into actionable strategies.
Experience with multicultural marketing.
