Production Supervisor

Job Summary

Conagra's Archbold manufacturing plant is hiring a production supervisor with primary focus in the Sauce department. You will initially be assigned to 3rd shift; however, the ability to flex to other shifts is expected to support the plant's 3-shift operation. You will report to the department manager and work with a team of 550 employees where we produce our delicious Libby's Vienna Sausage, VanCamps Baked Beans, Wolf Brand, Dennison, and Wendy's chili, Healthy Choice Soups, Hunt's Manwich and Spaghetti Sauces and so much more.

Position Responsibilities

• You will be a leadership presence spending 80% of your time on the production floor leading and coaching employees on their job responsibilities and ensuring they have the resources required to perform their jobs.
• You will ensure that all resources are available to maintain efficient production schedules.
• You will support the plant's continuous improvement goals in Safety, Quality, Cost and Customer Service.
• You will enforce plant rules, regulations and procedures.
• You will promote a high level of compliance to defined employee safety and quality requirements.

Position Qualifications

• You have a high school diploma or GED, preferably a bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Operations Management, Food science, Agricultural Sciences, or other Natural Science.
• You have 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• You can support 3-shift manufacturing requirements with schedule flexibility to work weekends and off-shifts.

Compensation: 

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.

Salary : $62,000 - $91,000
