Minimum Hiring Wage: From $16.00 per hour Job Details: Scheduled hours: 3 hour day shifts (Monday - Friday) Job Description: A Brief Overview Drive a van primarily to deliver or pick up laundry, mail, specimens and supplies within a specified area per schedule. Duties to include loading and unloading vehicle. What you will do Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures. Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition. Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles. Present receipts for gasoline purchased. Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles. Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions. Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios. Drive to specific locations even during inclement weather. Supervisor will use best judgment on when to delay delivery/pick-ups. Regular and reliable attendance. Qualifications: Qualifications H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required Driver's License Required Previous experience in working in customer service Required Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
