Risk Services, LLC, a division of The Amynta Group, is a professional services firm that provides financial reporting, regulatory compliance, insurance management and functional consulting to our insurance industry client base. We work in partnership with our clients to provide them with accounting and insurance professionals who provide day-to-day operational services and assist in the management and operations of their captive insurance companies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will assist management on a range of general underwriting functions. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Processing new and renewal submissions for underwriters and facilitating communication between underwriters and external contacts.
- Generating, invoicing and following up on Endorsements for active insureds through their insurance agent.
- Executing policy holder services such as cancellations, reinstatement, and making federal and state filings as needed.
- Preparing and responding to phone and e-mail questions regarding coverage or other issues.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma required with Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
- Prior related work experience in insurance is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- PC literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and deal with conflict
- Flexibility to work on special projects as needed
