Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Territory Manager to join our team. A successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire retail operation for multiple locations within the North Georgia territory. They play a crucial role in ensuring that retail stores within their assigned territory are running smoothly and efficiently to meet sales targets and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
· Store Management: Supervising and guiding store managers and their teams within the territory to ensure they follow company policies, meet sales goals, and deliver excellent customer service.
· Sales Performance: Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics for each store in the territory, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to improve sales and profitability.
· Training and Development: Providing training and development programs to store staff to enhance their product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales techniques.
· Merchandising: Overseeing product displays, stock levels, and merchandising standards to create an appealing and customer-friendly environment.
· Inventory Management: Ensuring that stores maintain optimal inventory levels, minimizing stock-outs, and excess inventory.
· Budgeting and Financial Management: Creating and managing budgets for each store in the territory, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines. P&L responsibility.
· Marketing and Promotions: Collaborating with the marketing team to implement sales promotions, advertising campaigns, and other marketing strategies to attract customers and increase footfall.
· Customer Relations: Addressing customer complaints and issues, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and promoting a positive brand image.
· Performance Evaluation: Conducting performance evaluations for store managers and staff to identify areas for improvement and recognize top-performing employees.
· Compliance: Ensuring that stores adhere to all company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
· Market Analysis: Staying up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to make informed business decisions.
· Territory Expansion: Identifying potential locations for new store openings and presenting proposals for expansion to senior management.
Requirements:
· Proven track record with handling retail operations increasing year over year revenue for multiple units.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Flexibility to travel as required.
· Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred). Experience in territory management would be considered in leu of degree

Application Question(s):
- This position will manage anywhere from 6-10 retail locations in North and East GA Market. It will require the ability to travel daily or weekly to the following areas: Dalton, Calhoun, Ringgold, Lafayette, Marietta, Fort Ogelthorpe, Athens. Are you able to reliably travel to these locations?
