Job Duties:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and facility issues related to pork processing operations to ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on various systems, including hydraulics, electrical, plumbing, conveyor systems, and pneumatic systems.
- Set up, adjust, and break down production machinery to meet operational requirements.
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance activities to prolong equipment lifespan and enhance operational efficiency.
- Read, interpret, and follow equipment manuals and technical documentation to carry out repairs and maintenance accurately.
- Complete daily reports and paperwork to document maintenance activities and equipment status.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience and/or training in one of the following areas: Mechanical troubleshooting, Electrical/Electronic Troubleshooting, Hydraulic Troubleshooting, PLC Troubleshooting and Navigation, Welding/Fabrication, AC/DC Control Wiring, Motor Control, 3 Phase Wiring, Plumbing, Conveyor Maintenance, Hydraulics, Pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in AC/DC control wiring, 3-phase wiring, motor control, and conveyor maintenance.
- Ability to work in wet and humid environments with temperatures ranging from 35 to 90 degrees; capable of climbing ladders and working from elevated platforms.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs as required during maintenance tasks.
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift (Including weekends)
- Flexibility to work all shifts, including Sundays and overtime as schedule
