10th Street Children's Academy is in need of a team member to assist in serving meals to up to 152 children in a childcare setting.
Kitchen Responsibilities:
-Assist with weekly menus, monitor food inventory, and ordering.
-Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local food handling requirements and DCFS nutrition standards for childcare centers.
-Maintains clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
-Provides assistance and food safety guidance to classroom staff.
-Maintain clean and organized staff/common areas.
-Willing to assist classroom teachers as needed.
Qualification and Skills:
-High School Diploma
-Food Manager Certification
-Ability to foster teamwork
-Planning and multitasking
-Self-motivated and high-energy
-Conflict Resolution and Problem-Solving Skills
-Excellent Verbal communication
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
