The Role:
Calling all recent University graduates! If you are highly motivated to succeed and want to build an exciting sales career from the ground up, we want to talk to you. We are currently looking for a new Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. In this entry-level role, you’ll be aligned closely with our sales team to help identify qualified prospects, target new accounts and respond to inbound leads.
Through extensive on-the-job training, 11:11 Systems provides you basic sales techniques that will help you achieve quick wins and prepare you for long-term success. The BDR role is vital to the growth of our sales funnel. Successful applicants will have a strong work ethic, be extremely persistent, pay close attention to detail and have excellent communication skills.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Houston, Texas office, and will report to our Business Development Director.
What You’ll Do:
- Execute a daily call plan to new prospects that creates a consistent flow of new opportunities to meet your monthly goals
- Reach out to and follow up with respondents from a variety of marketing programs to initiate conversation, learn current business programs, and qualify potential business applications
- Master 11:11 Systems’ value proposition so you can position the company properly to prospects
- Nurture and manage leads until they are qualified as sales-ready
- Manage online chat system to generate and qualify incoming leads
- Track all activity thoroughly in Salesforce to support account and management teams, validate activity and lead qualification reports, and provide Sales with solid prospect background on role, need, and intrigue to ensure high-quality prospect transition into the sales process
- Identify potential opportunities and transition leads to Sales by setting up sales appointments for further qualification discussions
- Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values
- Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies
- Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements
- Additional duties as assigned
Who You Are & What You’ll Bring:
- University degree
- 1-2 years professional sales experience, specifically in Technology/Software sales Demonstrated work ethic and consistent over-achievement
- Experience conducting business and building relationships via phone & email, with excellent phone, interpersonal, verbal, and written capabilities
- Experience successfully managing multiple priorities simultaneously, maintaining a high-volume pace with the ability to “switch gears” quickly as the prospecting conversation warrants
- Over-the-top motivation and creativity to successfully reach prospects and create conversations
- Salesforce experience a plus
- Fluent English speaking and writing skills are required.
