Position Highlights: Position: IT Applications Training and Support Specialist - HIM Hourly Pay Range: $28.43 - $44.07. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Location: 4901 Searle Parkway, Skokie IL Full Time Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm Required Travel: YES local travel to Endeavor Health facilities is required Onsite position Job Summary As the IT Applications Trainer I at Endeavor Health you will be responsible for providing training and learning solutions including but not limited to optimization, design and support for a variety of end-users on functionality and workflows of the EMR and other technology platforms. All IT Applications Trainers are focused on delivering effective software training programs that promote technology adoption, improve workflows, and drive engagement among end-users. Training delivery methods include classroom instruction, web-based learning, one-on-one coaching and creation of a variety of training documents/tools. In addition, acts as the liaison between Information Technology, to provide an understanding of application workflows and functionality. All IT Applications Trainers play a role in the continuous improvement of training related processes, products and services. All IT Applications Trainers will foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders and vendors to align training solutions to the goals of Endeavor Health. To be successful in this role, you will be expected to remain updated on the latest solutions and technologies and advocate for the adoption of best practices. What you will do: Supports and delivers training onsite and virtually including but not limited to one-to-one, classroom, service requests and group settings. With oversight, designs, develops and maintains training strategies for IT applications including but not limited to class curriculums, training/support documentation. Assists with low to medium projects as assigned. Assists with testing and troubleshooting of EMR and Technology systems. Remains up to date and utilizes new technology and methods for training to promote better adult learning experiences. What you will need: Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor's Preferred) Experience: One (1) or more years of experience in a healthcare setting or relevant related industries. Two (2) or more years of experience in healthcare setting or relevant related industries (preferred). Unique or Preferred Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills essential. Solution oriented problem-solving ability with a lean towards curiosity, out of the box thinking and innovation. Flexibility and adaptability to change in workload, job responsibilities, and scheduling requirements. Function effectively in a team environment including collaboration, strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Personal and ethical accountability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications. Strong level of customer service and organizational skills. Demonstrates a positive, open-minded, can-do attitude with willingness to embrace and facilitate change. Defuses stressful situations and utilizes defining moments as learning opportunities.
