Job Title Product Management Senior Specialist - GSS Role Description: The Business Analyst in the Navitaire Airport/Operations & Government Security Messaging product management group will work with existing and potential airline customers to identify business requirements, provide sales and implementation support, and identify business process changes. This position involves extensive collaboration with clients, industry organizations, and other teams to identify and address complex problems and to deliver solid, successful and innovative products and solutions that support our customer’s objectives. Key Areas of Responsibility: Represent the Navitaire Airport/Operational & Government Security Messaging Team during customer implementation and upgrade projects including data or configuration collection Provide on-going collaboration with Navitaire Development, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support teams Perform business and systems analysis for new messaging product initiatives Document and clarify business requirements and produce detailed use cases for complex messaging development efforts Address and respond to customer inquiries and issues Support sales pursuits involving existing and new customers Provide subject matter expertise within Navitaire on airport/operational and government security messaging functions: Transportation, governmental, and industry security requirements: including but not limited to PNRGOV, iAPI, and API messages Airline industry practices and standards for passengers, ground handling, inter-airline connections, and baggage processing IATCI, Inter-Airline Through Check-In Passenger Name list, passenger reconciliation and baggage messaging processes Systems integration with various third-party components Other related duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree holder At least 2 years’ experience in Business/Systems Analysis or Requirements Gathering / Analysis role At least 2 years’ experience in root cause analysis Proven ability to solve problems and issues effectively Proven ability to write complex requirements documents Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills Proven discipline to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Flexible work schedule; willing to travel Ability to assist in envisioning, designing, drafting of product requirements Ability to work with customers on-site and off-site Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of airline, facilitation and/or travel industry business processes Knowledge of airline/travel industry practices and/or standards: IATA, PSC, Facilitation, IATCI Previous experience working directly with customers Previous experience supporting customer implementations Diversity & Inclusion We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and seek to hire the best candidate regardless of age, beliefs, disability, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation.
