Job Summary
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing support to the Accounting department in handling day to day financial operations of the company. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; accounts payable, accounts receivable, and various clerical tasks. Establishes and maintains effective communication with employees and clients. This position requires ongoing dialogue and contact with customers therefore requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism.

Education & Experience
- High School diploma, some college preferred
- 1 - 3 years accounting experience
- QuickBooks experience preferred but not necessary
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Essential Job Functions
- Process deposits and process customer payments (checks and credit card)
- Collections (as needed)
- Provide receipts for customers
- Performs the processing and recording of accounts receivables transaction
- QuickBooks uploads from Print Leader and POS systems
- Create purchase orders
- PO / Invoice reconciliation & filing
- Process new customer credit applications (as needed)
- Monitor and order all office / janitorial supplies for home office
- Accounting research as requested
- Various administrative duties including answering phones, filing, sorting and distribution of mail
- Other projects as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
