Product Engineer

Immediate direct hire opening for a Product Engineer in the Dayton, OH area!

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the new product development lifecycle, from initial concept to market launch. 

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure cohesive and successful product development. 

• Assist in conducting in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive gaps. 

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery of high-quality products. 

• Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools to design and prototype innovative new products. 

• Oversee rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure products meet performance, quality, and safety standards. 

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. 

• Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance product performance, reduce costs, and streamline development processes. 

• Stay current with industry advancements and emerging technologies to integrate cutting-edge solutions into new products. 

• Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and senior management. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 

• 4 years of experience in product engineering, specifically focused on new product development. 

• Demonstrated success in leading new product development projects from concept to launch. 

• Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, AutoCAD) and other relevant engineering tools. 

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skills. 

• Visionary engineer with passion for new product development 

• Proven project management skills, with experience in agile methodologies being a plus. 

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 

• A deep passion for innovation and attention to detail. 

Schedule: 1st shift (DIRECT HIRE) 
Pay: $65-100k depending on experience, bonus potential.
